High street retailer Debenhams is counting down to its grand opening in Beverley – with a new 42,000 square foot two floor store at the heart of the Flemingate development.
The new store has created 100 new jobs, with almost 1000 applications received to date. The store, which opens its doors in October, will become an integral part of the local community.
Store manager Emma Doherty said: “We’re really looking forward to bringing Debenhams to Beverley. Our new store will feature a premium beauty offer as well as our renowned Designers at Debenhams range, offering fashion followers designer names at high street prices. I’m looking forward to introducing the brand new NINE by Savannah Miller collection – I know the ladies of Beverley will love it.”
Doherty continues: “We’ve recruited a fantastic team from the local community who are currently in training and excited to show off the new store!”
The new store will boast beauty houses including Bare Minerals, Benefit, Clarins, Lancôme, Estée Lauder and Urban Decay. Both men and women will be able to enjoy designer fashion at high street prices with the Designers at Debenhams range including collections from Ben di Lisi, John Rocha and Jasper Conran.
Brand new Designer At Debenhams collection NINE by Savannah Miller is also set to launch at Debenhams Beverley. The range was created to fill a market need for stylish, smart-casual wardrobe pieces for day to eveningwear. The range comprises of luxury knits, authentic denim, ‘hi-spec’ leathers, vintage inspired laces, sequin embellishments and subtle ‘non’ print blouses and dresses. Accessories include shoes, boots and bags as well as a range of scarves and wraps.
To ensure shoppers have an opportunity to refuel, the store will also feature a Patisserie Valerie concession. There, shoppers will have a chance to enjoy the vibrant food offer, with a selection of hot and cold drinks as well as irresistible cakes and pastries.
The ground floor of the Beverley store will house Women’s Fashion, Accessories and Lingerie as well as Health & Beauty. Men’s Fashion, Accessories, Kidswear, Homeware, Click & Collect and Patisserie Valerie will occupy the first floor.
